Coastal Festival at The Maroon Room: A Seafood Celebration in Guwahati
From chilli crab and lobster to coastal cocktails, The Maroon Room’s Coastal Festival brings fresh, briny and indulgent flavours to Guwahati from 17 to 30 September.

Coastal flavours, served fresh
There is something unmistakably inviting about coastal food: the freshness of the catch, the brightness of spice, and the comfort of dishes made to be shared. From 17 September to 30 September, The Maroon Room brings that spirit to Guwahati with its Coastal Festival, a limited-period celebration of seafood, bold flavours and crafted cocktails.
This festival is built for guests who enjoy generous plates, layered sauces and the pleasure of gathering around a table. Expect a menu that moves from delicate starters to indulgent mains, with seafood at the centre of every course.
Seafood highlights from the festival menu
The starters set the tone with dishes like Thai Herbs Steamed Fish, Asian Style Fritto, Seoul Fire Calamari, Volcano Prawns, Thai Chilli Garlic Crab and Samurai Seafood Skewers. Each dish brings its own personality, from fragrant Thai herbs and chilli-garlic notes to crisp seafood textures and smoky, spicy glazes.
For mains, the festival leans into richer, more indulgent coastal flavours. Golden Dragon Lobster, Imperial Seafood Treasure, Singapore Chilli Crab Royale, Bangkok Spicy Fish and TMR Special Sizzling Seafood bring together lobster, crab, prawns, calamari and fish in sauces inspired by Thai, Singaporean and Pan-Asian flavours.
For the table, The Perfect Boiled Seafood Platter is the centrepiece. With prawns, shrimp, squid, crab, octopus, potatoes, corn, eggs and vegetables tossed in a signature sauce, it is made for sharing and for slow, satisfying meals with friends.

Coastal cocktails to pair with the feast
The bar joins the celebration with Coastal Festival cocktails created to match the freshness and richness of the menu. Citrus Breeze brings together gin, mandarin, citrus and sparkling wine. Orchard Élan combines gin, brandy, apple, mixed berries and orange. Tidal Haze layers gin, pineapple, yuzu and Chenin Blanc, while Coastal Heat brings tequila, carrot, guava and jalapeno into a bright, playful coastal-inspired serve.
